Returns & Refunds policy

1. No Refunds or Returns All sales of puppies are final. Once the purchase agreement is signed and the payment is made, the buyer acknowledges that there will be generally no refunds or returns, including but not limited to changes in circumstances, buyer's remorse, or issues not in breeder's control that may arise after the sale.

2. Veterinary Checkup Requirement The buyer agrees to obtain a complete veterinary checkup for the puppy within 10 days of the purchase date. A copy of the veterinary checkup report must be provided to the seller within this time-frame. Failure to do so will void any health guarantees provided by the seller.

3. Insurance Requirement The buyer is required to obtain pet insurance for the puppy within 14 days of the purchase date. Proof of insurance must be submitted to the seller. This insurance should cover the puppy for accidents, illnesses, and any other potential health issues.

4. Acknowledgment By signing the purchase agreement, the buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this No Refund and Return Policy, as well as the requirements for a veterinary checkup and insurance.

5. Governing Law This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado.

Additional Terms
Short Term

The buyer is required to take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian for first exam within ten days of possession date for this 3 week contract to be applicable. The buyer fully responsible to obtain a pet insurance during the animal life expectancy.

Within 10 days of the buyer’s possession, should the vet diagnose puppy with external or internal infestations (parasites, worms, ear mites, giardia, coccidian, etc..) or diagnose puppy with communicable or infectious disease, the breeder agrees to pay the following:

  1. One vet exam related to diagnosis only

  2. Up to 35% of initial lab cost to diagnose problem

  3. Up to 35% of medical procedure cost to treat the puppy

  4. Up to 35% of one follow-up lab cost

  5. Up to 50% of prescribed medication to treat the puppy.

  6. The breeder will not pay for routine vet exam that discovered a health problem, dewormer meds when worms are not present, and general indirect vet fees.

Total combined reimbursements under the contract will not exceed $150. The breeder reserves the right to base reimbursements on local Colorado Clinic fees.

Long Term (6 months)

Within 10 days of purchase, the breeder will refund 100% of puppy price if congenital abnormality is affecting the animal’s quality of life. The following factors (mobility, appetite/eating ability, breathing, discomfort, incontinence, mental capacity, behavior issues, and response to treatment) will be considered when accessing the quality of life. The buyer fully responsible to deliver the animal back to the breeder.

Things not in this 6 months contract are infectious diseases, viruses, parasites infestations, worms, giardia, coccidia, accidental injuries, foreign inhalation, indigestion of harmful substances, and heat exhaustion.

The breeder will reimburse 50% of the extra cost to fix at time of spay/neutering umbilical hernias, undescended testicles, or other congenital abnormalities that are not affecting the animal’s quality of life but require necessary surgical correction to remove the risk of complications.

For 6 months contract reimbursements, the breeder requests the buyer’s licensed vet and pet insurance makes all claims in writing.

Total combined reimbursements under the 6 months contract will not exceed price of the puppy. The breeder reserves the right to base reimbursements on local Colorado Clinic fees.

In the rare case of an unexpected, unexplainable death, the breeder will refund 50% of puppy price as well as autopsy cost if findings are due to a congenital disorder.
